Technical challenges
- Seven languages to maintainLabels, date formats, distance units and currencies have to adapt without breaking the layout: German lengthens text, Japanese changes line-breaking rules. Every new screen has to work in all seven.
- Sync without a serverData follows the user between iPhone and iPad, including after offline edits. CloudKit avoids hosting a backend, but means handling merge conflicts and schema changes.
- Three subscription tiersMonthly, yearly and lifetime coexist with a free tier capped at two vehicles: unlocking the right features at the right time, restoring purchases, handling grace periods without ever locking out a paying user.
